Living Voices

Living Voices programs combine a one-person performance in synchronization with archival film and sound. As the performer tells his story from the viewpoint of a person experiencing a certain time in history, a video shows archival footage of the event and contains the voices of other characters with whom the performer interacts. Programs may be presented in a classroom, library or auditorium, depending on the audience size and available technical equipment. Two to three nearby schools may share the cost of the artist fee if performances are scheduled within the same day.
