Elaine Muray 
Theatrical Storyteller/Educator

An entire cast of characters in a highly theatrical, kinetic solo performance of folk tales and personal stories. Elaine Muray’s performance highlights include the Australian, Stone Soup, Taos and Story Crossroads festivals; Provincetown Theater (NYU), National Theater (DC) and Boston Court Theater (LA). She has toured internationally, travelling to Colombia, China, Korea, Chile and Peru to perform at international schools. A former resident of Ventura, CA, Elaine was chosen as the solo performer for the Pacific Region at the 2008 National Storytelling Conference All Regions concert. She has over 15 years’ experience as a certified ELL instructor.

Animals: A to Z  is for the young at heart. Watch and listen to animal characters brought to life in tales with meaningful morals. (grades K-6)

Mandarins, Maoris, Moons and Monkeys  is a collection of stories from Asia and the Pacific Rim. (grades 4-8)

A Trip on the 4 Winds  is an ever-growing body of work that provides a view into the richness of stories from cultures around the world. (grades K-12)

Ugh! Bugs!  introduces some of the wonders of the insect world through colorful, moving tales. (grades K-6)

Stories in Stone, Bone and Soil I s a collection of stories that have been found or referenced in findings from archeological digs—a great launching point for history and science lessons. (grades K-12)
