The Peruvian Ensemble
INCA, the Peruvian Ensemble presents exciting programs and workshops that showcase music and cultural elements of the three major ethnic groups found in Peru and the Andean region, native Incas, Hispanics, and African-Peruvians. INCA encourages active participation in all activities, workshops, and performances. The presentations can include a bilingual component of English and Spanish.
INCA's programs include the various styles of music from Peru and the Andean region (Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, northern Chile, and northern Argentina) mentioned above. Active participation by the audience is encouraged by the performers. In addition to the traditional performance, the ensemble offers:
Amazonas is an exciting and unequaled introduction to the music, rhythms, and sounds of South America. With ethnic flutes, percussion, and string instruments, the musicians showcase Brazil’s samba, Chile’s cueca, Argentina’s chacarera, Colombia’s cumbia, Paraguay’s galopa , and Peru’s huayno and festejo, exploring all the native, African and European roots of South American music and rhythms.

$2,000 double performance
$2,400 triple performance
Fees include all travel costs.
