Community Collaborations
One of Children's Creative Project's (CCP) key strengths is its collaborative approach. By partnering with local school districts to develop arts education plans that align with the goals set by administrators for their students, CCP ensures that its impact is not only widespread but also tailored to the unique needs of the communities it serves. This collaborative model promotes a creative and sustainable integration of arts education into the curriculum.
A recent collaboration between Children’s Creative Project (CCP) and Carpinteria Unified School District (CUSD) illustrates their commitment to enhancing arts education. CCP developed a resident artist program for the district, offering theater, dance, visual arts and music workshops to all CUSD elementary-aged students, with professional teaching artists delivering instruction aligned with the updated California Arts Standards.
