Community Collaborations

One of Children's Creative Project’s (CCP) key strengths is its collaborative approach. CCP works closely with local school districts, classroom teachers, arts specialists, community organizations, and cultural partners to ensure students receive meaningful and engaging arts experiences. By partnering with districts to develop arts education plans that align with administrators’ goals for their students—and by collaborating with community partners to expand access to arts programming—CCP ensures that its impact is both far-reaching and responsive to the unique needs of the communities it serves. This collaborative model supports a creative, connected, and sustainable integration of arts education into the curriculum.

In recent years, CCP has partnered with the Santa Barbara Sister Cities Advisory Board to produce an arts competition for local secondary students, following the Sister Cities International guidelines for the Young Artists and Authors Showcase. We also have an ongoing collaboration with South Coast Kids Create to exhibit more than 250 artworks created by elementary students across 30 schools in South Santa Barbara County.
